Hamas committing war crimes doesn’t mean that Israel can ignore international law.

The remains of Shifa Hospital are dystopian. Palestinians need access to medical care, aid and shelter.

Today 7 aid workers at World Central Kitchen were killed in an IDF strike. Nowhere is safe in Gaza.

I get that these protests are difficult to police and proportionality is key .

But swatsikas ffs !

If someone is displaying swastikas they are committing a public order offence. There have been 40 yrs of reported cases on this point . It is one of the most obvious examples.

Whilst there can be no doubt most offending is inextricably linked to poverty and cuts in public services, the powerful points made by Jo need to be acknowledged across the political spectrum.

Let’s be imaginative and not compete for votes over who can offer to bang more up.
