The Israeli government is establishing a police unit to prevent human rights activists entering the West Bank. But you can't hide the reality of occupation: settler violence, pogroms, and apartheid.

And today on the West Bank, settlers + Israeli soldiers raided Palestinian villages for hours. Riots & pogroms! Burning every house & car they see. Attacking the innocent because they’re Palestinians. There is no justification for a pogrom!

I'm not sure this police investigation into whether Angela Rayner broke electoral law will get very far. When we found on C4 News in Stoke by-election that Ukip leader was registered at address he'd told me he'd never yet visited, Staffs police investigated & dropped the case.

And in a 1991 BBC Panorama programme we showed how PM John Major had been registered in 1968 at a house in Lambeth which the owner told me he'd never lived at - not even for one night. That qualified him to stand for Lambeth Council, and he duly won a seat. The Mail splash
