In light of the upcoming storm, Maureen Joy will be CLOSED on Thursday and Friday this week. We will have a full day of school tomorrow, Wednesday, September 12.

Maureen Joy Charter School is carefully monitoring the progress of Hurricane Florence. We’re preparing for the possibility that we will need to cancel days of school. We anticipate making those decisions by Tuesday afternoon.

The Spring Arts Showcase highlights a variety of artwork, including music. Our Spring Arts Showcase is Thursday, May 17th from 5:45-7:30 with our middle school music concert starting at 6:30 in the auditorium. See you there!

1st grade ESL students had a tea party!

Congratulations to Coach M, who ran the Boston Marathon this week!

Enrichment teachers put together a fun day on the field where students could spend time with their classmates and enrichment teachers. Students were able to do various activities such as soccer, bubble painting, and have dance parties.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support our Girls on the Run in their practice 5K to get ready for their 5K at the end of April!

BIGG Club spent their time after school today beautifying the garden behind the school.

3rd graders recently spent their paycheck money to bid on prizes. One prize was a race with Mr. Bailey.
