I am eternally grateful to have someone like Dennis who can make this happen for me. If it weren't for him, I would truly have quit comics by now because the barrier for entry is impossible to reach for someone like me. It's a constant struggle. I'm constantly exhausted. the end.

The only comic that I worked on that I have seen with my own eyes is Etheres. And that's only because @Dennismenheere shipped me one with a friend. I have had to rely on Dennis for so many things that I have no access to because of my nationality and my location.

- Can't print my comics locally and ship them from here because it takes 1.5 - 2 months for anything to ship. So not only do I have to rely on external services that come with their own costs to print, package and ship my comics. But it means I have not held any of my own comics.

- Almost every international payment system or service is inaccessible to me. Can't use Wise, can't use Revolut, can't use Cashapp, can't use Venmo. Which means not only can I not PAY my collaborators through these services. But I also can't get paid through them.

- Kickstarter almost shut down the Kill My Boyfriend campaign because 'a Syrian' was involved in the project.
- My currency is significantly weaker than USD and on average, 3 inked comic pages (only inked) = 1 month of rent for me. 1 cover = more than 1 month of rent.

Those close to me know my struggles with making comics while being Syrian. But to those who don't:
- Can't use PayPal
- Can't use SWIFT transfer system
- Can't go to cons bc no country will give me a Visa
- Can't network and meet editors or peers bc ^
- Kickstarter almost (cont.)
