@phenomenoeme It seems there is a great deal of tension in writers around this issue. These are folks who probably don't really think about or engage with the questions of how they write what 'they' 'write,' or what any of that means, and feel threatened by things they haven't investigated.

Lillian-Yvonne Bertram (along with many other poets) has been doing innovative work in algorithmic composition for some time. Just as there's a difference between a cento and plagiarism, there's a difference between Bertram's work and machine-faked authorship.
