UIL One Act Play is my jam! Though I wish I could have watched all of them, I was happy to catch Cypress Lake’s’ performance of The Yellow Wallpaper. Great job by this cast and good luck to all the awesome Cypress-Fairbanks ISD One Act Play casts! #cfisd

Great time last night at the Cy-Fair Education Foundation Salute to Our Stars. I had the pleasure of sitting with Hopper Middle School star of the evening Brianna Reese. It was great to also catch up with Cy Creek High School star math teacher David Hunt. #cfisd

It’s all about having fun with books for Read Across America at the CFISD Falcon Road Early Learning Center. I inadvertently picked the hardest Dr Seuss book to read but I pulled it off. #cfisd

Yes! We’ve all heard the doom and gloom narrative of teacher shortages. There are a number of programs and schools that get interested people into a rewarding career in education. #cfisd

Great to hear Ricky Hurt’s story and dedication to CFISD. Growing up around machine shops myself, it seems Ricky and I both found our way to serving the district. I even did the Bane (and Post) to Jersey Village HS path too! Keep up the great work Ricky! #cfisd

Anyway, congrats to CFISD Elementary Spelling Bee Champion Vir Lagad from Wells Elementary, Runner Up Mahek Ibraheem from Ault Elementary and all the great spellers who competed. #cfisd

Roar! Took in some local community theater where the girls are furthering their Broadway aspirations in the Lion King. Of-course I had to rep CFISD and rocked the Cy-Ranch polo. CFISD gear is widely considered appropriate theater attire. #cfisd

The new CFISD Board Committees will strengthen the District vision and planning process. I look forward to rolling up my sleeves with my Board colleagues and Administration to tackle the important issues that lay ahead. #cfisd

The K-12 Rodeo Art Show was a fantastic event that showcased some very talented students from all over the CFISD all displaying their work. It was amazing how many members of our community and our staff turned out to support this event. #CFISDspirit

After viewing some great rodeo artwork at the Visual and Performing Arts Center, it was time to take in some basketball between two great teams Cypress Falls HS and Bridgeland HS. CFISD hoops!
