Police are appealing for information after a White Fronted Goose was shot and disposed of in a plastic bag on the banks of River Thurso in the Halkirk area, after a report on Tuesday 30th January 2023 of parts of a bird being found within a plastic bag. Caithness Birds

Killer Whales (27s) off the North Caithness Coast 45 minutes after sunset today. I can’t believe they turned up so late in the day 🤦♀️ thank goodness for SWAROVSKI OPTIK EL binoculars ☺️ which allowed us to watch them for a good bit longer in the twilight ✨
