I dislike funerals intensely, but tomorrow I will return to the UK to pay my respects to a much loved and lost dear friend. Even as the years pass, the depth of true friendship never dies.

Just spoke with my eldest on the phone and closed by reminding her (as Dad's do) that the clocks change this weekend. She told me that she already had - two Sundays ago. Kids eh......
