This is me working on making a Japanese merchant street with some reference. I chose reference based on what I remember of Japan, rather than look for reference to match to. Is that backwards?

I wonder if it's a type of sound synesthsia to know someone speaks a certain way, and then when you read the words, to hear the words back in your head in their voice? 'cause apparently I'm in the minority and I have weird synesthsia around certain things.

I now know why Takeuchi-sensei had assistants like Ueda Miwa-sensei to do her backgrounds. Maybe I should thank Ueda-sensei for doing anything like the Elysion Tower background at all.

I haven't seen a good Youtube video break down the lack of diversity in publishing well, with numbers and such, with pay scales, etc over time. Are Booktubers scared to criticize the industry? (And I don't mean in a vindictive way. Just purely factual with data and citations).

Yeah, yep, and nope. Ummm... Don't know how this one happened. Dae Jang Geum is not even a 19th century setting or Japanese so... yeah... I noticed that Google struggles with centuries in East Asian searches unless you know the Era name, etc. Something to fix?
