Sheriff Tom Spangler has placed the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Units on our snow plan. KCSO will only be responding to EMERGENCY calls for service due to deteriorating road conditions.

Knox County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit is on the scene of a fatal single-car crash potentially involving alcohol on Collier Road in Powell. The road is going to be shut down until approximately 8:30 pm.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office Patrol & Crash Reconstruction Units are on the scene of a single vehicle crash with three juvenile occupants on Hill Road at Griffith Road. Please choose an alternate route until approximately 12:30 am.

Floyd Allen Dalton, Jr. Age 51 was captured just inside Anderson County this evening by Knox County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Detectives.  Dalton has been the target of a search since firing on a KCSO Patrol Officer just after 11:00 am this morning during a traffic stop.
