Indeed the arson attack in Nożyk Synagogue where we commemorated last year the 80 anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising is extremely distressing.

Full solidarity with the Jewish community in Poland as they cope with the shock.

Good to see swift action from the authorities

Warsaw’s Nozyk Synagogue was rebuilt from the ashes of the Holocaust.

Last night, someone tried to burn it down.

Antisemitism is a very real virus that Jewish communities confront each day.

Whether in Poland, or on college campus across the United States, authorities must act.

I condemn the arson attack on the Nożyk Synagogue & against the Jewish community in Poland. The tsunami of antisemitism that we have seen in Europe since 7 Oct is dangerous and a threat to Jews above all, but also to all those who cherish democracy and its values. #FullSolidarity
