When it comes to your race, it's almost always better to bank stamina, NOT time. That means practicing patient & reservation early on so you don't expire & have the stamina to have a strong last third of the race distance!

20-40 days is how long it can take to recover from a 13.1 or longer event, depending on how well trained you were and how hard you ran. You don't need to fully rest that long, but there's no need to jump into hard running too soon.

Try not to give each workout 100%. Doing so may leave you too fatigued & require too much recovery time until the next key workout.
