Except Ma's dialogue with #China *WAS* unificationist. China won't even talk to #Taiwan without agreement on 'one China', which is basically unificationism. Taiwanese don't want that, and China won't agree to dialogue without it. Ball's in China's court, not Taiwan's.

If everyone in #Taiwan who didn't want Taiwan to become part of China left, that would be somewhere between 80-97% of Taiwan's population.
