Just seen Back to Black. A brilliantly heartbreaking film. Amy Winehouse really was a one off. Brings you to tears. All she really wanted more than anything though was a family of her own and to be loved. So sad.

Really creative and productive day today with Suzie Chard writing our play. Probably our seventh session over the last few weeks and the five hours flew today, so exciting. Looks like we now have a basic structure and story with our core characters and it’s going to be brilliant.

Popped into Mushroom Theatre Company (MTC) to catch the first half of their show rehearsals at Chelmsford Theatre for their yearly show Thursday 11th and Friday 12th April. It’s still amazes me and if I’m honest catches me off guard as to how committed and talented all these kids are ❤️

Just had a moment of really missing my Grandad Bert. Sadly he passed away when I was 13, I miss him so much. Such a kind and funny family man. Always making us laugh by popping out his false teeth. Wore a shirt and tie every single day to clean windows for years until retirement.

Incredible. Over 900 episodes.
More importantly, he is an absolute gentleman. To everyone he meets and works with. Felt very honoured that my first ever scene was with Derek, I was so nervous and I’ll never forget how comfortable and relaxed be made me feel on set. Legend.
