I see no lights tonight — probably fine; I am exhausted

Northern Lights over Montrose Beach! Never thought that I'd see something like this in Chicago!

We could see them with the naked eye but the using a long exposure or higher ISO on the camera really brings out the details.

This purple is so cool. I did not mean to wake up at 3am and stare at the sky for an hour but I am glad I did!
