Zoe bear and Willow Class have enjoyed looking for minibeasts through a magnifying glass this week. They found lots of different minibeasts including woodlouse and ladybugs. 🐞

The police spoke to 5/6 about what they do and showed us their uniform and equipment. They spoke to us about keeping safe online, and what to do if we get nasty or unwanted messages. We loved asking them lots of questions!

This week in Chestnut Class we have been exploring the concept of beauty and how this can be seen in different parts of the world. Today, we looked at some beautiful images of places around the world and linked it with our Geography knowledge to locate the places on maps.

EYFS performed beautifully in their Class Assembly today! They spoke, sang and danced with amazing confidence! Well done to you all! ⭐️

🦒🐘 🦁 In the Prayer Space, one of the activities has linked to the story of Noah’s Ark. Children have had the opportunity to thank God for their favourite animals and pray for their protection! 🦁🐘🦒

Last week, our Y4’s Tri-Golf  team had a great afternoon at the Havering Sports Collective Tri-Golf Festival, some great chipping and putting.

Last week, our Y1 & Y2 Football teams had a great day in the Havering Sports Collective Football Tournament. Both teams won their groups and won all their games. Y1 only conceded 2 goals and Y2 only conceded 1. Amazing work! #CVrespect

During their Science learning this week, Year 6 children drew the circulatory system. They then acted as red blood cells moving around the human body! #CVcreativity

The children in Year 4 made us proud today, taking part in the Mighty Oak public speaking competition at ARU. They showed dedication, confidence and resilience! #courageousoptimism

Elm Class enjoyed opportunities to be still and calm in the prayer space today. They also used sand to think about the impressions they can leave behind! 🙏❤️

What a fabulous show and tell today…a beautiful picture of a bee created at the weekend, using watercolour paints and pens! Mrs T loves bees so I know she will love this! 🐝
