I hope this is making everybody feel better.

There is a very specific section of my brain that watches this and thinks, “Oh look, it’s the hottest thing I’ve ever seen.”

It took nine days to go from “I will begrudgingly let the dog sleep on my bed by taking him up there and gently trying to get him settled” to “the dog takes himself upstairs to bed when he decides it’s his bedtime.”

There has to be a better way for CNN to follow this vote than flipping Yay and Nay back and forth depending on which is leading.

Everything in the news this week makes me go, “And then what?”

It’s early, but I did like this premiere more than other recent ones. Not to be mean to Matt, but he doesn’t counterbalance Noel in the right way.

Tons of action in the pollinator garden today. Some bees, but also a ton of these little guys, who are tiny (these flowers aren’t much bigger than a quarter) and have shiny gold bodies.

A good reminder that flood water is super nasty.

It’s awful for anyone’s last chapter in public life to look the way Feinstein’s did. There is room for a lot of soul-searching for a lot of people.
