But they're not so good at getting out of water - so it's vital to make sure ponds & pools have a sloping side, ramp or 'beach' of stones & bricks so they can climb out safely.

First recording this year of the return of my hedgehogs. Some neighbors tell me they have hogs emerging too. It’s fantastic to see them again. I had at least 6 individuals last year.
