Excited to share the final version of our paper on transcriptional signatures of bonding and loss in monogamous prairie voles. This paper was a labor of love spearheaded by Dr. Julie Sadino, Ph.D. with Conor Kelly Liza Brusman Deena Walker and Xander Bradeen elifesciences.org/articles/80517
Very excited to have this preprint out! We examined how dopamine release in the NAc of monogamous prairie voles differs when seeking and interacting with a partner or a novel vole. Thank you to Zoe Donaldson for your amazing advising and thank you to Yulong Li Lab for providing GRABda
📢 Check out our new paper: 'Prairie vole pair bonding and plasticity of the social brain' - authors.elsevier.com/a/1g2mNbotpyLMx
Zoe Donaldson and I share an amuse-bouche of the prairie vole research model, and what this work can reveal about the juncture of neural and behavioral plasticity.
🚨I finally get to share the surreal news that I’m launching my lab as a 2022 Dr. Monica M. Bertagnolli’s Early Independence Award recipient #DP5 ! My lab will investigate how monogamous brains are organized during development to support pair bonding 🧠 ❤️ 🔬 #NIHHighRisk
Look ma, more fertile mice! Excited to have our paper published in Frontiers - Endocrinology. With awesome coauthors including Thijs Walbeek Liza Brusman
