Upcoming local and mayoral elections on 6 May: have you considered a postal vote this time?

We’re encouraging people to think about their options early when it comes to how they wish to vote.

Because of Covid-19, voting in polling stations will be different... (thread)

*Your polling station may change and be further away.
This is due to some not being suitable for social distancing & other Covid measures

*Distancing measures are likely to be in place, meaning there could be queues

*Voters will be asked to wear a face-covering if able to do so

We will soon be sending out postal vote application forms to residents who aren’t already signed up to vote that way. This will include a pre-paid envelope.

Electors who already have a permanent postal vote arrangement do not need to re-apply.
