The two-child limit is cruel and should be binned. If Anas Sarwar truly has any influence with UK Labour, he will tell Starmer to do another u-turn & scrap it.

Retaining the two-child limit is a deliberate policy choice to keep children in poverty.

Well worth noting the Child Poverty Action Group figures from last week - at least 80,000 kids in Scotland are affected by the two child benefits limit.

Labour now saying they won’t scrap it.

Starmer says the way to grow public services is by growing the economy. He clearly thinks the private sector leads. But when it won’t (as now) Keynes taught that the state must spend first to create growth. Starmer seems wholly unaware of that, which is irresponsible economics.
