- one woman in Gurugram was killed by her husband using a sharp object,
- One woman was killed in Bihar by her husband by beating her with a rod
- Another man killed his children and left the wife for dead at Shyam Nagar in East Delhi.

2. In 2021, there were 5292 cases under abetment to suicide of women. That is 14 women committing suicide because of their partners.

3. One in three women in India suffer domestic abuse. One in seven also reported a physical injury because of such abuse.

Thread: Husbands and partners killing women was, is and will be a malaise if we limit the outrage based on communal lines and blaming Love Jihad. Some data:

1. In 2021 & 2022, India reported 8400 & 6500 dowry deaths. That is 20 women killed by their partners, every single day.
