We need a strong NHS for a strong economy.

Every £1 invested in NHS is estimated to benefit the wider economy by many times this.

By saying we need a strong economy for a strong NHS, the Tories are sneakily making an argument to not fund our NHS.

I still can’t believe people are still listening to the same folk who said Brexit would create wealth, that Covid was nothing to worry about, and that tax breaks for the wealthy would lead to higher standards of living for all. I mean, at some point surely a light has to go on!

Why did the BBC think it important to report on the Tories being fined by the Electoral Commission back in 2017…

The best estimates I’ve found say that 90% of the consultants working in the private sector also work in the NHS.

If Wes Streeting wants to bring down NHS waiting lists, he should just pay NHS staff properly and remove the private sector from the equation entirely🚨🚨🚨

Why am I in a ‘state of hysteria’ about NHS privatisation?
1. That’s misogyny, but I’ll overlook it.
2. Because Wes Streeting is claiming that privatisation will help the NHS, but there is no ‘spare capacity’ as he claims, unless the private companies poach yet more NHS staff🚨

Why not rise above the mean-spirited debates and do grown-up politics, bringing people together in a coalition to achieve results?
