So, impressions of not being on here for a good six months and then coming back for a couple of days:
• My timeline is ~50% ads and people I don't follow
• Still the click-bait
• I do miss some folks who aren't on Mastodon
• Content is more varied here than Mastodon

Coming back on here for a look around during the Tory annual conference was probably a very bad idea.

I am very sad about what is happening to Twitter. So much of my professional life has been inside these walls. But, that has been at the expense of my own walls (these are, after all, someone else's). Back to my blog, it is then.

I need a recommendation on a note-taking app. Apple notes is ok, but I struggle with organisation and it lacks any kind of integration possibilities. It'd be nice to integrate notes with Google calendar (not Docs - again, organisation problems). Any good contenders out there?

At my parents house for a couple of days and it's so quiet my Airpod's are generating noise to then cancel out. It's like they want to be busy.

Finally deleted Instagram. For the odd image from my friends and family - and the odd picture of my dog - it really isn’t worth it in amongst the aggressive algorithm and endless nonsense reels (which will only get worse as they try and monetise them).
