Today is the 79th anniversary of the liberation of Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Today we remember all the tens of thousands of Jews who were murdered there, all those incarcerated, as well as the British Armed Forces who liberated the camp.

15 April 1928 | A French Jewish girl, Rachel Abramowicz, was born in Paris to Icek & Itta.

Itta was deported from Drancy on 2 Sep 1943. Icek, Rachel & her brother Joseph arrived at #Auschwitz on 13 February 1944 in a transport of 1,500 Jews. They were murdered in a gas chamber.

14 April 1914 | W Polish Jewish woman, Gienia Judzki, was born in Sosnowiec.

She was deported to #Auschwitz . She did not survive.

14 April 1924 | A French Jewish girl, Suzette Aaron, was born in Niederbronn-les-Bains.

She arrived at #Auschwitz on 23 August 1942 in a transport of 827 Jews deported from Angers St. Laud. She did not survive.

OTD in 2022 Russian warship Moskva, that was told “go fuck yourself”, went & fucked itself and sank.
