Weirdly, we're hearing about a new neuroscience-y game called Proxi from Gallium Studions, cofounded with Will Wright, where gamers can enter AI-generated memories. Gallium worked with Numenta to move the game onto AI. Not sure how that's going to play out, but interesting.

Intel's MJH brings Kawehi on stage to show off AI music production. (Kawehi is just one of millions of musicians I've never heard of.) She's using Audacity's AI tool to generate new tracks.

(To my ears, the background track sounds like the theme to the Mortal Kombat movie.)

Intel's busy working with AI developers to boost AI app development on Core Ultra. (That is going to be absolutely necessary. No apps, and the hardware will starve.)

Intel's showing off Ghostrunner 2 as a way to show off the integrated Arc GPU, which is a real boost for the Core Ultra. We're moving into AI software. MJH says that Intel tested 20 local AI apps on the Core Ultra -- a compatibility story, she says.

Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger compares the Core Ultra launch as the 'Centrino' moment, where WiFi just exploded in every coffee shop in America. It's the same for the AI PC, he says.

Intel's AI Everywhere event begins in a few minutes, where we'll see the formal unveiling of the Core Ultra / Meteor Lake.

(Songs about 'stories you shouldn't believe' should never be played as the runup to a press event.)
