My staff and I joined District 5 residents at Lake Hodges for an #EarthDay cleanup. We must do more to protect our planet so people can enjoy its beauty for generations to come. Special thanks to the Friends of Lake Hodges and ecoATM for organizing.

What a night! I was honored join the San Diego Padres, in community partnership with San Diego Pride, for “Out at the Park” Night. I love that our professional sports team encourages its fans to show their Pride #ForTheFaithful

My staff was proud to join San Diego Regional Chamber on their trip to Washington, D.C. They worked with more than 170 leaders from San Diego and Baja to advocate for some of our region’s most pressing issues.

Things are moving fast at the Airport! I learned so much during my tour of the T1 construction site which, once completed, will ensure San Diego has a thriving airport for many years to come. Thank you to everyone at San Diego Airport and San Diego County Regional Airport Authority for your hard work.

It is my pleasure to honor #ranchobernardo resident Arden Pala with a City of San Diego Proclamation. Arden is recognized for founding Sports 4 Kids, and for all of his contributions and service to our community, particularly in supporting individuals and youth facing homelessness.
