The construction of Engine 42, Rescue 2, District 9 Firehouse is a $23.5 million investment in the City of Boston's community and emergency services. Yesterday, I visited the construction site to learn about the progress of the first new firehouse built in 30 years. Boston Fire Dept.

Our renovations of Boston City Hall plaza will create open space that prioritizes accessibility and sustainability. Thank you to everyone involved in designing and creating this civic space.
