Columbia students are risking arrest, expulsion, and the sacrifice of career opportunities to stand with Palestine. They’re being militant and determined in their solidarity, and showing how colleges, once leading sites in the push for radical change, can again play that role.

Since the start of April, student protesters have received criminal charges, expulsions, suspensions, and campus bans due to their involvement in protests for Palestine.
