Worth pointing out that @marklygo actually voted against MFR bus gate as County Cabinet member & lost his Cabinet position as a consequence. It required far more bravery from him than it did for me as a city cllr.

V impressed by quick response from TVP Oxford & South Central Ambulance Service & the cardiologists & critical care Parkrunners who were thankfully on the scene & came to his aid.

Interesting to see that some of the commentators who think it’s OK to expect elderly people to walk an extra 100 yards to the next bus stop are the same who protested about cyclists having to dismount & wheel their bikes same distance at Broad St Christmas Market.

Why remove a bus stop well used by Marston & Northway residents visiting shops & GPs & N Oxford residents going to ⁦OUH⁩? We should be making bus travel easier now that County are restricting cars on Marston Ferry Rd. Please join me in writing to oppose this move.

Delighted that the Planning Inspectorate found in favour of ⁦Oxford City Council⁩ & refused permission for a short term let in William St. There are nearly 800 short term lets in Oxford, which could be used for local families. Encouraging that regulation may be on the way.
