I was surprised to see Med outlast AZ in the end. But main thing which let AZ down is his inability to keep making it a physical battle. Medvedev on his end mixed up his return position, played much more aggressively and limited long exchanges. His legs looked fresh at the end.

Even though AZ looked cooked after those 40 and 51 shot rallies, really think if he keeps it up he can take Medvedev’s legs. Medvedev doesn’t look fresh at all.
