Fantastic night supporting Tracy Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire and Team West Yorkshire, bring on the local and mayoral elections

In the week that saw West Yorkshire as having some of the worst bus services, I was pleased today, along with Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire, to bring buses back under public control.

We’ve been out speaking to local residents along Potovens Lane this morning. Stopped by to see how the key worker 🌈 benches were doing which we had installed a few years ago.

Today I moved a Labour Council motion calling on government to withdraw controversial fracking licenses in Wakefield.🌹
The motion passed with the support of all parties, apart from the local Conservatives who disgracefully refused to support calls for a ban on fracking locally.
