Excited to announce we're putting over £2.5m into rolling out #AdvanceChoiceDocuments across NHS Maudsley, setting out a person’s wishes for how they would want to be treated should they become unwell in the future.

We funded a pioneering study led by Prof Alan Simpson on the perceptions and experiences of body-worn cameras by service users and psychiatric ward staff. A Lived Experience Advisory Panel provided vital input and the findings will help to inform wider national policy.

Small changes can make a big difference. With funding from our Change Makers scheme, staff at Place of Safety in Maudsley Hospital worked with @BethlemGallery to commission a mural with input from staff and patients. The dedicated space caters to patients admitted under section.
