Lots of interesting applications for this especially if you link it up with work done on voice cloning. So I’ll be able to see and listen to my Dad many years after he passed. This is the worst this technology will be.

Lots of great conversations last week at the #ConnectedUp2024 conference, some captured here in this great podcast.

Obviously this is both impressive and a great “What?! What!” moment. However, as I mentioned yesterday at #ConnectedUp2024 , with 10% of global electricity usage predicted to be needed for Data Centres by 2030, this will not be “free” either financially or in cost to the planet.

A great privilege to be asked to be a keynote speaker Glasgow City Council #ConnectedUp2024 conference. AI is here,but balance is important and we must remember we’re human first.
