At the top of Stenbury Down found some beautiful wild Yellow Archangel

Haven’t walked around Godshill woodland where the Bluebells are popping out and Stenbury Down for ages, today was the perfect time as the mud is finally drying out a little. Lots of butterflies enjoying the sunshine. Speckled Wood, Peacock & Comma

Birdsong always makes a walk better, today I was serenaded by a Dunnock, a little flock of Linnet, a myriad of Skylarks and some beautiful Song Thrush melodies but they stayed in hiding. Skylarks always look a bit prehistoric 😀

West High Down towards the coloured sands of Alum Bay

It’s a gorgeous day on the #IsleofWight and had a marvellous walk from Brighstone to Alum Bay via Freshwater Bay. Lots of Cowslips and Violets on the downs

Always a tricky subject when trying to get that Back light, we can only but try.

Enjoyed the birds, Greenfinch, Skylark, ChiffChaff, on my walk today and these sheep made me laugh, they ran off when I passed by, then turned, lined up, moved towards me and looked like they were about to call me out 😂 #IsleofWight

Tennyson Down has a wonderful bench with a view and a verse of poetry, perfect place for a snack

Reached the trig on top of Brook Down and can see Tennyson Down in the distance. A bit of blue sky makes the cold wind easier to put up with 😀

It’s a beautiful morning so decided to get some practice for #WalktheWight , from Strawberry Lane near Brook the view is looking fabulous

Had a very very muddy walk along the coastal path from Culver Down to Bembridge, with the odd detour after all the heavy rain. A super view of the Lifeboat Station while I scoffed my picnic and a lovely clear look at an Oystercatcher and a Great Crested Grebe in the harbour
