Just so that we’re clear here - my toddler cries longer about being given ketchup instead of ranch with his chicken nuggets than he did when he got the vaccine 💁🏼‍♀️

Everyone else has already moved on. There is no campaign around getting young kids vaccinated- even trying to figure out where to get an appointment is difficult, especially for kids younger than 3 years. Parents are excited just to be met with more barriers.

While I have gotten used to the US’ lax standards around vehicle maintenance and that duct tape is way too frequently used to fix things, nothing is more frustrating (and dangerous) than driving behind a truck whose brake lights aren’t working. Fix them!!!

When you wait together in stand-by lines for 3 consecutive flights and cheer each other on for every spot gained - is that when you become besties?

Why do books still have flimsy paper covers (especially kids’ books)? It’s the first thing I take off.

Just a reminder that this is still a pandemic and an entire segment of the population is not eligible for a vaccine yet, meaning another segment is constantly dealing with disruptions and the risk of bringing Covid into their household. No, we’re not okay.

I know it’s a pandemic and we’re supposed to be home but haven’t we moved past “your delivery will arrive between 9am & 9pm, please be home” updates?
