Stephanie Beltrame in her broadcast/commercial role at CA has been one of the biggest game changers in Australian sport. Can’t thank you enough 👏🏽

Not many would’ve picked them before the start of the Women's Premier League (WPL) or even half way through. But they came home with a bang taking top honours for leading runs scorer, wicket taker, player of the final & emerging playing of the year. What a turn around. Congrats Royal Challengers Bengaluru! 🏆

And we wonder why we have International Women’ Day! The icing on the cupcake would’ve been if they had posted this on March 8 not 6.

Come and coach/lead the best club in the world! Yes I’m 100% biased but also a lot of inside knowledge of their history, vision and culture.

This is a brilliant thread on the 1997 Women’s World Cup in India and the lengths countries went to with minimal support & resources. Starc difference to today working on the Women's Premier League (WPL) and knowing there is more to come. Thanks to those in ‘97 and before for the foundations. 👏🏽

Not only have we had two last ball thrillers to start the Women's Premier League (WPL) but a noticeable and exciting elevation of Indian
domestic players making significant impact - Sajana, Vrinda, Asha and more to come.

It’s showtime! Women's Premier League (WPL) opening ceremony and match not far off. Chinnaswammy Stadium will be rocking with stars of both kinds. Bollywood and the world’s best cricketers.

1st half of the day dominated by the quicks. Brown with her first 5fa then Klass had the Aussie’s in trouble taking 3-2 in her opening spell. Mooney 78, Healy 99 & Sutherland 54* with the counter punch. Day 1 loaded with moments in oppressive heat at the WACA.

In what was one of Australia’s most successful years of cricket it was an absolute thrill to co-host the Australian Cricket Awards with Jason Richardson and the The Grade Cricketer.

After knocking on the door for the last few years and having been agonisingly close in T20 World Cup finals matches, it’s history in the making today as Sth Africa women record their first ever win over the Australia in any format.

Batted well, kept well (still recovering from horrendous finger injury) and captained/lead well. A T20 series win a fitting result to mark Alyssa Healy 150th match.

How good has the inclusion of an U19 World Cup been and Titas Sadhu tonight the perfect example. Young, skilled, fearless taking 4-17 and setting up an impressive Indian win.

I’m not sure what’s been more impressive. The fitness and concentration from Litchfield having played 3 ODI’s in 6 days in stifling heat. 3 different styles of pitches. Runs setting and chasing. The sweeping v footwork down ground to spin. Let’s just say the kid can play!

The start of a Litchfield tradition? Starting the new year with a ODI 50? 2023 and 2024 ticked off. To state the very obvious we are looking at the start of something quite special here.

Her name was Melissa Hoskins, an Olympic cyclist, a mother of two. She was a daughter and a friend. Media reporting should tell her story not his. It’s time to change the narrative
