Terrific morning at the Winchester Frmrs Mkt with a huge showing from our community groups as we (weather notwithstanding) make the turn into the Fall and our non-Summer routines. Great to see so many old friends and make some new ones today (and pick up a load of fresh food for dinner)

Happy Labor Day! Thank you to everyone who has fought for improved working conditions for all and to everyone who continues to stand up for the working person, including my brother, a former union leader who has never stopped teaching and leading by example.

As August wraps up, I want to take a minute to thank the dedicated group of students who interned in my office this summer. They were an invaluable resource to me and my team conducting research, writing memos and attending briefings. I look forward to seeing where they go next!

I hope to see you this week! Office hours allow me to learn more about my constituents to become a better representative, so come introduce yourself, learn more about government services, ask questions or just say hello.

The Isley Brothers and a fried feta egg over an avocado tortilla started the Saturday, and then the light bulb flicked on -- 'Wait, Dad, didn't Ice Cube use this?'

Last night 5 people were injured in a Mattapan mass shooting & gun violence in Brockton left 1 dead, 2 injured. Nationwide? 20 mass shootings since July 1 ALONE injured 118 & killed 19. The time to act to keep our residents safe from gun violence is NOW.
