This morning’s very special, bittersweet milestone- ribbon cutting for the new cyclotron Stanford Radiology. I truly hope we can honor those that worked so hard to make this dream a reality through what we do in this facility - especially Sam Gambhir, Aruna Gambhir, and Bin Shen 🙏🙏🙏
So well deserved! Monica is an inspiration. We are all so very lucky to have her at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology
Finishing up WMIS WMIC 2023 with awards — congrats to all awardees, including friends Bernd Pichler (gold medal) from Werner Siemens Imaging Center, Sydney (poster award) from James Lab @ Stanford, Nick (young investigator award) from Molecular Medicine Lab and Lisa Baird (society CEO and new fellow!)
Looking forward to seeing you all in Prague. The program is outstanding 🙏 Tim Witney Vladimir Ponomarev safe travels everyone. WMIS WMIC
Congratulations to Israt Alam, member of the James Lab @ Stanford MIPS Stanford Radiology on being recognized for her talents and potential to lead in #nuclearmedicine #molecularimaging #precisionmedicine

Impactful words by Carolyn Bertozzi today on how diversity in her trainees enabled creativity, not playing by the rules, and ultimately the work that built the field of bioorthogonal chemistry. Diverse science leads to better science!

Get ready for the wonderful Dr. Israt Alam to share about her work that started in the Gambhir Lab @ Stanford on developing the first human-specific OX40 PET tracer for monitoring T cell activation. Her data is strong and the potential impact is very exciting! She'll be in Rm 235/37.
Good morning WMIC peeps! Don't miss the very talented Isaac Jackson's talk on a new inflammation PET tracer he helped to translate with the amazing Stanford_CRF, @MackenzieCarls and Ashvattha Therapeutics! 🧠 He'll be speaking in room 238/239. We are so proud of him! #WMIC2022
