Congratulations to the Cheer Bears at The National Treasure for finishing 2nd in the nation at the NCA Championship in Daytona. Their athleticism and synchronization are simply spectacular. As President Morgan State University, can I just declare them THE BEST IN THE WORLD?

As a former member of both the ⁦NCAA⁩ Board of Governors and the D1 Board of Directors, I’m pleased to be in attendance at the Final Four. Paving the way for the National Treasure to receive this trophy in the future. Dreams do come true!!!

These images continue to bring smiles to my face. How have we moved so far as a nation from knowing and respecting our values and disagreements? I hear Harold Melvin bellowing: “Wake up everybody, no more sleeping in bed… No more backward thinking, time for thinking ahead.”

Both the ⁦Morgan State University⁩ Choir and the Baltimore ⁦Baltimore Orioles⁩ knocked it out of the park this afternoon. We, too, sing America!!!

Calvin and Tina Tyler are incredibly remarkable people. They gifted Morgan $20 million in 2021—-the largest gift to an HBCU by a student who attended one. Pleased to be in attendance yesterday as he was honored in Henderson, Nevada.
