Sometimes, on cold, wet days like today, the only human interaction I get is on here, and I really value Twitter for that.

I don't mean to say that France is Shangri-La, but, honestly, cans from the supermarket are never dented, and biscuits in packets are never broken.

There is no surprise that the world is a mystery to me, but even so, this 200m queue for a new Taiwanese bubble tea shop this morning does not compute. I can take a guess at Taiwan, but I really couldn’t tell you what bubble tea is, and doubt I’d queue for it.
