This is just lovely. I love when people take an idea and then want to keep in contact while they figure out how to adapt, improve or change for their context. Thanks so much for the feedback Niamh Owens, PhD

This means a lot from Paul. Ive taken a lot from his writing on instructional coaching. Extremely grateful for the time people have taken to read and comment on this article in Chartered College of Teaching Inspiration from Andrew Percival

Such a nice piece of feedback to receive. Would love to hear from anyone who has got a copy of the handbook if it’s helped shape your thinking (or if you have suggestions)
free download from our website: edupulse.co/services Just give us a follow EduPulse if you would!

Highly deserved. This organisation is full of such quality and combines it with genuine humility. That combination is rocket fuel for development 🚀

Following the interest in this, the handbook is now available as a free download from the EduPulse website: edupulse.co/services

Feel free to help yourself! I hope it’s useful in supporting your thinking about what you might want your handbook to look like in your context

Very true. When someone asks ‘will that work in my context’ the answer should probably be ‘I don’t know. Give it a try and let me know’

Last call for this post: professional development can do four things.

- Instil insight
- Motivate goal-setting
- Teach techniques
- Embed practice

The most effective professional development does all four.

Where does the true responsibility lie for in our schools? I suggest it's not our young people ...

Finishing this off this afternoon.. always a labour of love. Really hope our teachers approve of how I’ve tried to pull together where we are, where we want to get to and how we’re going to reframe some thinking so we can get moving! Next year’s priority - responsive teaching

If you are free for the next half hour, jump into this chat. It’s super easy and Chris will inevitably have interesting views that he won’t…. Hold back on… I’m calling in. Hopefully you will too
