Thanks to all who came to the C&I Materials Roadshow! It was great to chat about the exciting things happening in #IrvingISD next year. We'll be at A.S. Johnston Elementary School next week. Stop by to see the new science, math, and RLA materials. Irving ISD C&I #IISDReimagined

It's critter season in #irvingisd . All elementary campuses are observing life cycles, exploring interdependency, and learning about animal structures and functions. Catalina Vargas, what a great idea to borrow from other classrooms! Love the creative thinking!

What a great open house and science night Elliott Elementary School! Special shout out to the Nimitz High School science club and Ms. Mendez. They went all out with hands on activities to get kids excited about science! Microscopes, slime, fossils, pipettes and pennies. So many smiles!
EcoColumns help us explore interdependence and so much more! Thank you, Catalina Vargas , for making science come alive for students.
Our T1 strategy of the day was on academic conversations, so of course started with a scientific debate about the Chicago Rat Hole! #academicconversation #sciencetalk #phenomena
