Did you know April 2, 2008 was the first World Autism Awareness Day, as declared by the United Nations General Assembly & Canada passed the World Autism Day Awareness Act in parliament in 2012?

🔵is heavy/slow moving - the gems don’t float

Teaching skills that are somehow acquired without being explicitly taught: upside down reading 😎📚

Toys can be awesome tools to help students demonstrate their superpowers 🧠💥Today, these toys allowed me to learn that these students:
-know colours
-can wait for their turn with a toy
-can follow one-step instructions
-use imitative and spontaneous speech to communicate

More travels, more awesome inclusivity sightings - this time in Barcelona🇪🇸! Casa Batlló also warned me about potential sensory agitators before their immersive experience. Love seeing specific ways society is made more inclusive and celebrating folks for who they are 🌈♾️
