True, but 'grassroots' venues (like 'DIY' labels) shouldn't be valued only as a rung on a ladder. I don't want to save small venues because a big band played there once, or because a future big band might play there. The truly life changing stuff happens small. Always has.

The talent is wild. These young people are the best.
