Those who are genuinely interested on debate on inequality should be reminded that the empirical evidence on rise in inequality is not sacrosanct, it is being questioned. It turns out that there are serious concerns regarding the data that is being used to assess inequality.

Using excellent quality high resolution daytime satellite data, we study the growth rates at local levels (districts, sub-districts & parliament constituencies) - across India &compare b/w different political regimes. Main results:
1)18% higher growth rates on average under Modi.
