Today, Viktor Orbán again claimed that NATO is getting closer to be involved in the war in Ukraine. He also said that even if NATO becomes involved, Hungary would not be participating on either side. The question arises: does this mean that Orbán would betray the NATO alliance?

russia continues killing Ukrainians. Today it struck northern city of Cherinihiv, killing 15 & wounding 61. Yet another loss of lives that could have been avoided, had the US and other Western allies provided Ukraine with more anti-aircraft defense. Shame on you, Western leaders!

Ukrainians will not surrender: there is no one with whom to negotiate, and territories under Russian occupation have been reigns of terror. (In the background: typewriters used by noted authors from times past at Dukh i litera publishing house in Kyiv.)

We learned about russian atrocities in Bucha because Bucha was liberated. Then we learned about atrocities in Yahidne, Izyum and many other cities & villages. We do not know much about atrocities on territories still under occupation. But we cannot expect anything less brutal.

Poland categorically rejects suggestions that we inspired Tucker Carlson to propose to Vladimir Putin the return to borders of the 1650s in Eastern Europe.

Yet another horrible crime of russian aggressors against Ukrainian people. Ukrainians are resisting but we urgently need more weapons to defend our country and protect our lives.

This seems deeply problematic and implausible, knowing his work. I really hope this gets a proper process w real opport. to challenge accusations from an intelligence service -often a very difficult situation to be in (in all countries; let Estonia prove better than eg my own DK)

Four years ago, Vilnius hosted the reburial of Kastus Kalinouski & other heroes of the January Uprising of 1863 at the Rasų Cemetery. The city was filled with the colors of our white-red-white flags. Kalinouski was executed for being a leader of people resisting against tyranny.
