And the 'high quality' research was misrepresented.

And all recent research was excluded

And the conclusions were plucked out of their air with no apparent link to any of the evidence.

This is simply transphobia within the Cass review. ‘It may just go away if…’ is something most trans people will have heard time & again imho. There is zero evidence for this approach. Desisting for just a bit longer does not “cure” being trans.

One thing I have learned speaking at colleges is that there is so much good research going on now into the lives of transgender people. Research that people like Cass will probably throw out. But research that will undoubtedly add to the pile of evidence that transition works.

- a YouTube channel run by rightwing commentators;
- an undergraduate essay;
- a Finnish clinic that told a 14 year old child to try sex first;
- a De Santos cronies;

Source considered poor by the Cass Review:
- doctors.

I was susceptible to social contagion theory, that nefarious internet trolls lured Alice into her weird transgender ways! It shames me now of course and worries me so, to see the mainstreaming of these ideas. I stand with the LGBT+ community in condemning this dehumanising stance
