Wow. Kathie Schey, who serves as Huntington Beach’s archivist and is on the historic resources board, just said during public comments that she’s resigning in protest of tonight’s agenda item regarding the establishment of a monthly events calendar and committee to select events.

Moser: “I am deeply concerned about the implications of continuing to deviate from established norms and procedures in our city council.
The disruption of these longstanding traditions….undermines the trust and predictably essential in our governance.”
