UPDATE: The 16 Egyptians arrested from outside the Gaza and Sudan solidarity stand outside of UN Women Arabic yesterday have been ordered released on bail after being brought before the SSSP today on charges of gathering and belonging to a terrorist org.

The case remains open.

Today, Egyptian women gathered to participate in a feminist stand outside of the UN Women Arabic office in solidarity with the women of Sudan and Gaza.

In response, Egyptian authorities arrested a number of participants, including the author of this tweet, Lobna Darwish of المبادرة المصرية للحقوق الشخصية.

The University of Minnesota just ordered janitors to shut off water supply, lock bathrooms and lock doors to Coffman Union where pro-Palestine protests have set up an encamptment.

I go to sleep and wake up haunted by mass graves, zip-tied corpses, limbless children. And try not to think of those still alive, or how they will survive another night or day.

Whatever you can do, in the streets or in your workplace, keep going keep going. Every empire falls.

More war crimes. If this was any other nation in the world, an arms embargo would be declared immediately, investigations would be opened, and world leaders would condemn the violence. Instead, Israel gets billions more in military aid. Western states are assisting genocide.

Solidarity with our colleagues at New York University, standing together to protect their students and to protest against genocide in Palestine, only to subsequently face mass arrest themselves.
